Here is a highly unusual antique Eastern European folk art stool.

The top looks like it might have been a child's saddle with its stitch and dyed wool seat.
Pyrographic scrolling with horse motifs bring a touch of charm to this piece.

This lovely stool has folk art feel. I think it would make a great footstool or display piece.

Condition:
The piece is in vintage condition with age appropriate wear. The "saddle" fabric is starting to detach slightly from the stool above.But this typical of older textiles. This takes nothing away from this charming piece. Please see photos for more details and don't forget to use the zoom feature!
