Here are two busts of a handsome little boy and a graceful little girl. Their innocence is captivating.
The originals, believed to be in the Louvre, are by the artist Jean-Antoine Houdon, a French sculptor. He was one of the leading sculptors of 18th and 19th centuries, considered to be a part of the Neoclassical movement, and famous for, among many others, sculptures of Diana the Huntress and George Washington.
