Early 20th Century Chinese Qing Dynasty Style Box with Dovetail Joints, Orange Folk Art Trinket Chest, Brass Corner Hinges, Wooden Box
$216.00 $270.00
This fabulous decorative box from the early 20th century features custom dovetail joints and bronze hardware.
While this beauty was created near the end of the Qing Dynasty style, I do not believe it was make in China. It has a desirable folk art feel about it; which I love! One side of the boxes is made from old root beer crate boxes.
I love the elegant design of the metal corner pieces, and the fabulous orange finish! 🧡

Condition:
This item is in good vintage condition with age appropriate wear. There is some wear; dings, scratches and edge wear from use. there is a crack along the lid by the hinges. Screws are exposed on the inside. The inside also shows some age; it was definitely used to hold things. I have not cleaned well, I leave it to the next owner to decide. A wonderful antique! Please see photos for more details and don't forget to use the zoom feature!
