White Porcelain Ceramic Pottery Bird Cage European Art Pottery Bassano Ceramic Sculpture Bird Cage One of a Kind Unique Italian Sculpture

This cylindrical ceramic bird cage sculpture in white porcelain is adorned with transferware red flowers and can be hung by a large metal hook. The flowers are a lovely dark red/maroon that sometimes fade into a pink color.

The bottom is marked Bassano indicating its Italian origins. Items like this decorative objects were often made for Neiman Marcus in the 1970s.

Condition:
The piece is in good vintage condition with age appropriate wear. This piece is missing the door/gate, but I think it remains a wonderful decorative piece. Please see photos for more details and don't forget to use the zoom feature!
