Constantine John "Gus" Kermes (1923–2009) was an American artist and industrial designer known for his depictions of Shaker communities and rural life. Alongside his artistic career, he worked as an industrial designer, holding 24 design patents and earning accolades for his work. His art, characterized by minimalist and folk-inspired scenes, is featured in collections like the Storm King Art Center. Kermes exhibited widely, focusing on themes of communal and rural traditions.
