Vintage Mimi A La Mode Boudoir Shower Cap with Gold Stars, Fashion Shower Cap, Dressing Table, Gold Stars, Art Deco, Gold Bow, WTH-897

Yes, this is an original, vintage Mimi a la Mode shower cap! It is from the late 1980s or early 1990's when the company was founded. Such a rare treat to see one of the first creative designs of this fun, Southern California based company. This cap came out of a home with all mid-century and vintage furniture and home decor, and I suspect this was given to the lady who lived there as a fantastic, Mother's Day gift during the 1980s.

The cap is made of plastic gold-star covered fabric over a plastic lining. It has an elastic band to hold it to the head. At the front of the cap is a perfect, little gold bow - which really adds to the cap's character.
